The Sales Associate, Shelby’s Sugar Shop is responsible for supporting the Store Manager/Shift Lead and will overall execution of the brand/guest experience, retail operations and sales performance of their respective store. The sales associate has a customer-first mindset, loves engaging with guests and takes great pride telling the brand story. This role demonstrates enthusiasm for servicing customers is proficient in sales and selling tactics. They effectively execute an overall positive brand/guest experience that drives conversion. This role reports directly into the Store Manager / Shift Lead and is accountable for executing to their direction.

Talent

  • Executes Shelby’s safety, service model, selling behaviors
  • Executes a positive cashwrap and effective check-out / sales transaction experience

Brand

  • Executes daily cleaning and housekeeping standards as directed by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Executes Activation Guides / Floorsets as directed by Store Manager: Windows, Easel, Interior Visual Merchandising, POS and Display as directred by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Executes all Signage/POS as directed as directed by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Effectively communicates product assortment and knowledge to guests’
  • Represents Shelby’s service and selling model
  • Demonstrates and executes service and selling behaviors, inclusive of sampling, upsell and add-on’s
  • Represents the brand by adhering to dresscode as directed by Corporate

Capability

  • Maintains exceptional cleanliness and safety standards as directed by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Executes all daily opening and closing checklists as directed by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Executes sanitation practices in accordance to State/County health regulations as directed byStore Manager / Shift Lead
  • Maintains cashwrap organization and ensures POS accuracy
  • Supports inventory exercises as directed by Store Manager / Shift Lead
  • Effectively facilitates new product to the sales floor and densifies floor through daily product replenishment based on sell-through

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Retail Experience in a similar capacity is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of POS Systems and Applications
